Stuart? You talked so nicely when you wrote to me personally....then....you
do the "shake his hand and pick his pocket at the same time"....how
sad.....and Rosie? I'm not doc....please tell me....what mental illness is
that we are suffering from?......Besides the accompanying
depression...anxiety....and other disorders that have nothing to do with
alcoholism.

No, but they have everything to do with you don't they? Is it not the same
you, who is having problems with alcohol?
Getting a bit sensitive, JJ?. Not picking your pocket JJ, just trying to
describe your responses as they appear to be to me, at any rate.
PS, about the "doc" part, surely you can take a joke. You probably know more
about depression/anxiety disorders than I ever will;-)

I was referring to the peculiar form of insanity alcoholics suffer from
right before they take a drink. JJ, you might try reading the story of Jim,
the car salesman, in Chapter 3 of the BB. You'll see my point too, Rosie,
although I am sure you are familiar with the story of Jim.

All there is to understand there is that our friend JJ has at
best a very shallow understanding of alcoholism. He may be
able to catch a fish in his little pond if he tries hard
enough to do so, but it isn't a pond that would be worth
hiking very far to get to. There are better places to fish
that are much closer by.

It does appear to be a rather shallow gene pool, doesn't it?
