As Bill Sees It

Dealing with Resentments, p. 39

Resentment is the Number One offender. It destroys
more alcoholics
than anything else. From it stem all forms of
spiritual disease, for we
have been not only mentally and physically ill, we have
also been
spiritually ill. When our spiritual malady is
overcome, we straighten out
mentally and physically.

In dealing with our resentments, we set them on paper.
We listed
people, institutions, or principles with whom we were
angry. We asked
ourselves why we were angry. In most cases it was
found that our
self-esteem, our pocketbooks, our ambitions, our
personal relationships
(including sex) were hurt or threatened.

Dear Rosie,

Recently, you said to me:

In replying, I asked:

"Dear Rosie,

It's important to me to know what you mean by "abusive" behaviour. My
dictionary defines "abusive" as:

Abusive

1. characterized by insulting or coarse language.
2. characterized by maltreatment ".

and stated:

In an effort to try to establish cordial relations with you, I should
be grateful if you could produce for me the posts in which in your
view I have demonstrated abusive behaviour so that I can consider the
need to issue apologies.

Yours

JB

I continue to wonder whether your decision to no longer communicate
with me is rooted in a resentments you hold against me..

Posted with the intent of trying to find some way to overcome this
impasse in our relationship.

Yours

JB

Rosie isn't gonna reply to you .

If she were going to enter into any discussions with you, the fact she'd
be in way over her head, intellectually, would become painfully obvious to
even the casual observer.

Watch carefully. Rosemary will be "all over" a newcomer, attempting to
smother them with her smarm and bullshit. But whenever the discussion gets
more than a few molecules deeper than superficial, she resorts to her
criticism of everyone else as "malcontents" and rolls about on the floor in
her derisive, demeaning laughter.

Hi Moonraker,

FWIW, I hope that no-one here considers how another writes to be good
enough reason not to engage in conversation.

Best regards

JB
(grinning while thinking about how she's sometimes felt an idiot on
account of posts she's read and things people have said to her :^).

Actually, communication skills are but a small part of it. What I was
referring to was the cognitive skills, the reasoning, and the logic. Rosie
has demonstrated, time and time again, her double digit IQ. (Instead of
getting a computer upgrade for Christmas, , she needed a brain upgrade.)

There are a number of people who have wonderful command of the English
language and still have nothing useful to say.....witness the current
intelligencia-troll we have posting about dopamine receptors .
