Reflections for Beginners
from
'Hour To Hour - The First 30 Days'
- by Shelly Marshall
the author of 'Day By Day' & other Meditation Books
We sometimes say things to ourselves like “I should have done
this, I should have done that.” We can “should” ourselves into deep
and scaring guilt over what we did in addiction. Regardless of the
playlets running in our heads, we are not in a position to take over
our Higher Power’s position of overseeing life.
No matter how long I have been on earth or how intelligent and
experienced I am, I will never rise above the level of human being.
