I have read that the amino acid L-Glutamine helps (recovering) alcoholics.
But is it for people who are trying to give up or for those who already
have? How does it work?

the only regular usage of L-Glutamine i have seen is for those who
follow THE ATKINS DIET.

I know it helps stabilise sugar levels so it may be to reduce the cravings.
Anyone else help?
