The last time you bragged about Gail's "improvement" here, she was actually
on her way to the psyche ward.

I hadn't noticed her posting all that much. I hope she's focusing on
what she needs to be doing.

Indeed. Whilst I believe Gail was either unwilling or incapable of
paying attention to my relapseometer, I feel she was certainly not
helped by enabling comments, as inaccurate and off-beam then as they
are with the benefit of hindsight.

It's not about Gail at all, I'd be the first to offer her any support
she needed. It's about your appalling conduct in the face of what was
clearly, to some of us at least, serious issues that someone was going
through perhaps without even realising at the time.

Hi all. I am doing good. Been visiting my mom and dad and sis. Had a really
nice time and just got home last night. My younger sis admitted that she had
an alcohol problem, too. I think hers might be worse than mine was. I hate
that. All I can do is be here if she needs me. Then, my son and
daughter-in-law are getting counseling. That was GREAT news, too. Also, my
youngest son has stopped drinking, I think. I am not questioning him, but it
appears to be he isn't. Thing's are looking up and for the better. Things
have gotten better since my hospital stay. Maybe I scared more people than
just myself That is a good thing. I am still scared and it all seems so
unreal. At least I ain't pregnant!!! LOL!
I cooked another turkey yesterday. What is it with me and turkey's?
I doing good. Just sat down to read some of your alls posts.
Luv to all,
Gail

What bullshit? The "bullshit" that I'd help Gail if she needed help,
or the "bullshit" that I was sensing her thinking relapse and even
expressed concern about it here at the same time you were singing
praises?

Yes. I know you hate google, though I can't imagine why, but this was
posted on November 2nd, which was prior to Gail's escapades:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?M36132BB6
In case you can't be bothered to read the link, I said "Of late I have
witnessed a relapse in your behaviour and attitude, hence your
thinking."
This is not the first time I've sensed a relapse happening in someone
before it happened.

Hi Gail
Glad to hear that you are getting out and into life. Your post makes a lot
more sense than most of the postings today:
>Did!
>Didn't
>Did
>Didn't
>Yes I did
>No you didn't
I find that it's very easy to retreat to my computer when I feel down/ sad/
frustrated/ inadequate. So I try to limit my computer time to once or twice
a day and the rest of the time I push myself to spend time with real live
people. It sounds like you had a good day doing exactly that. Your family
needs your help just as much as ARAA. Good for you.
I love turkeys too, & could quite happily have turkey soup for a month after
Thanksgiving. It's not abnormal. At least, that's what the Dragon tells me!
Aye,
