a breath tester? Get the BA level?

If you plan to soon not drink any more, wouldn't buying such a device
be a waste of money ?

Personally I'd prefer he buy a breath tester if he "plans" on
continuing drinking, rather than not buy one because he "plans" on
quitting.

I just don't believe it makes any difference to an alcoholic's
decision whether to either drink or drive. Alcohol removes many
inhibitions, and extends a sense of false ability. It's literally
fuel for self-delusion. Whilst I would sometimes question my
blood-alcohol levels whilst relatively sober, I don't remember ever
questioning them whilst drinking, regardless of whether I was driving.

good point blue. I would definitely want to test harry out before I got in a
car with him!
