View Full Version : I am doing it
I am going to pick up a one day token tonight. Although I didn't drink, I
haven't been sober for some time. I am also on Step 1. I am happy and know
this is what *I* need to do.
Got me a local sponsor today, too.
I am feeling good today. Got the bills paid, after three weeks of being off
my rocker.
Take care all!

Cool! No point complicating things with dates, just do what you need
to do. And, yes, I would start out with Step 1.

Thanks all.
Today we had a meeting on gratitude. I have to share this with you guys and
gals. I am, at age 51, grateful for getting to ride in the back of a police
crusier about three weeks ago. I had never been in one until then. I can say
that I NEVER want to have that experience more than 1 time and that was the
time. So, I am grateful for that experience.
Luvs ya all,
Gail
So glad you are doing well. There is something very satisfying about doing
the ordinary things after 'being off your rocker' isn't there. I got all my
credit card bills paid yesterday.......not completely paid off but enough to
put my mind at ease for another month.
good luck with step one

Heh, I was in the back of a police van just under a year ago. First
time for me in any police vehicle. Wasn't for me though - I was there
for "moral" support as they returned my mother to hospital after a few
"incidents" at home.
