Hi all - Used to play loud music when I was still drinking. Records like 'I
wanna break free - Queen', 'Fine Fine day - Tony Carey', 'Drive - Drive' etc
*REAL* loud, all on my lonesome drunk blues. When thinking back that was one
of the nice bits of my drunken life. Tonight I played the old songs *REAL*
loud again - sober. It is more enjoyable and I get goosebumps realising that
I can listen sober now. It is really great, great, great. Thank you you lot
for having been there 14 years ago and still being there now. The faces and
the names have changed a bit but the message are the same. I need you to be
able to listen to the music *REAL* loud.
Listening to 'I wont give up - Bruce Millar' now. That song used to play on
the radio or in a shop whenever I was 'alcohol challenged' just after
stopping.
There is such a lot of magic and 'coincidence's that I do cry a bit, every
time, thinking back and remembering the days after I was paroled from hell
....
Kind regards
Mias
14 years clean and sober and enjoying every second!
