FWIW, when I joined this NG, like you, I got upset when people made
jokes at my expense and also when they criticised me. Because I
stayed, I have been enabled to achieve just over five months of not
drinking. I have also learnt to accept and often enjoy the humour
that's here, rediscovered my own sense of humour, learnt to
deal with criticism and learnt to ignore posts that I find offensive
for
example.

If you are seriously looking for help and support to overcome a
drinking problem, you will find it here. if you stay, read widely and
eventually start posting :^)

In case you didn't bother reading for a while before weeping your way in
here, I am an awful long way from being pro AA. Irrespective, you ignored
the fact there are AAers here who can, and on an individual level do, go far
more per capita trudging the extra mile in what they believe to be helping
others, than probably any other committed service group in the world,

You ignored the fact groups exist for tests but this is not one of them. You
ignored the fact my response was humour directed not at you, but with you,
then you whinge like a fucking child 'cos your rope does not take priority
here, and Usenet didn't stop, just to listen to your shit.

Certainly no one here has stopped you from telling your pathetic story, what
