I also sympathize with anybody's suffering through withdrawal,
but that does not give somebody a free pass to hate-monger.
I also went through withdrawal. So did a lot of us, so Rush
isn't anybody special.
I went through DT's alone, without a doctor's help, because
I didn't even suspect that I was addicted to alcohol.
What a rude awakening.
DT's is far more dangerous than opiate withdrawal, and I
would guess, more painful.
People really die from alcohol withdrawal;
people rarely die from opiate withdrawal.
So while I can sympathize with the suffering that Rush Limbaugh
is going through, I can't feel all that sorry for him.
What I really feel contempt for is the fact that over the
last 6 years, while he was addicted to oxycontin and like
pills, he continued to go on the radio and rave hateful
things about addicts, and scream that dope dealers should
be shot. I wonder how his own dealer felt about that...
I have known a lot of addicts in my days, and they aren't
all that bad.
Rush Limbaugh's hypocrisy is monumental and inexcusable.

** Being surrounded by a group of people who keep telling

** With friends like them, you don't need any enemies.
