If you find AA questionable, great, go another route.
It's working for me (or i'm working on IT?)
I DO know that with the support, and mainly from the kinship of the folks there
(a lot more than the AA "dogma" as some call it), that I have been sober for a
couple months, and going strongly into a couple more, and a hopefully
productive and sober life.
So AA doesn't OWN me, the only reason I even know where my sponsor lives, or
what his last name is, is that I ran into him while taking a lawn mower to get
repaired--and sure as shit, he owned the small engine place! I was like
"David! what are YOU doing here?"
so that argument, IMHO, is a crock of bullshit. If it works, it works, my
freind. That is something that i know very well.
