I'm not going to respond to David's sophomoric reply. I've been involved in
counseling for 30 plus years and I am more than aware of the issues
surrounding my abuse of alcohol. I'm here for support...as the one that sits
on the other side of the desk everyday...it is nice to just relax and share
feelings.

Oh yeah I forgot your way to smart for the simple aspects of recovery.

Your a classic case of the smart motherfucker that never gets sober.

So smart, you need on-line support.....what a fuckwit.

And your giving advice to people? give me a fucking break !

What a complete arrogant , clueless, fuckwit.

Yes....it is my job...and I do it well....that doesn't mean I don't have
issues like ever other human being on this Earth. I am not arrogant or
proud of my alcoholism. For many years, I was married to an adult child
of alcoholism and it was real easy to justify our daily embiding. My
current wife is not an alcoholic, and I cannot allow this disease to
destroy our relationship...the hiding of bottles....going to different
liquor stores....refilling bottles....all the juvenile things that
alcoholics do.....I have stopped. I cannot allow this disease to do any
further damage to me physically, mentally, or hurt my wife and my two
sons. I don't need your insipid remarks. You've already been blocked by
some others...Why? Because you bring nothing intgelligent to the
conversation. As far as giving advice and having the same problem? You
think that's something new? Bill Clinton? George Bush and his little oil
war? LA Cops busted for corruption.....the list goes on because....we
are all human. You...apparently enjoy judging others and that makes you
feel better. I won't respond to you in the future.

Sheesh just when I thought we were becoming bud's.

Jeez Jack, you've barely been sober for a week. Dunno if you're a real
alcoholic, so only time will tell if you've merely paused for a breather.

Mind fucking others is a popular vocation amongst those who cannot solve
the same problem for themselves.

LOL, working in law enforcement while hiding behind that rationalization
for corruption is nothing new.

Apparently you came for "Support" If "support" got real alcoholics sober,
Al-Anon would not exist.

I've never met Daveb, we're definitely not online friends, but I wager he
has the benefit of a few years of recovery experience. If Dave's memory is
anything like mine, he's probably forgotten more about the gulf between
recovery theory, and the practice of recovery from the self centred
instant gratification apologists choose to call a disease, than you've
even dreamed existed.
