Is drinking a bottle of wine (750 ml) a day considered to be alcoholism?

Zoloft how are you doing?
I saw your previous posts about going to your first meeting.
What do you think, has it been useful?
I'm still struggling to go to my 1st one!

Thanks for the input, but, lately, I've succombed to thinking that it is
too much; mainly based on the reactions I get when I tell people how
much wine I drink, daily. However, I usually justify it with
considering myself to be European, and thus, wine intake being a
manifestation of being European.
1-2 glasses after work, prepping dinner.
1-3 glasses with dinner and apres dinner.
Bottle is gone.

So far it has been an "eye opener". Just the first of many steps. It is
a slow process, that is gult ridden. Here is a tip I just learned
yesterday, video tape yourself while you are drinking/getting drunk and
confessing to the camera. It is very "Sobering" thing to witness when
you are sober. You get to see yourself as a drunk, it is not a pretty site.

Can you stop drinking?
What's the longest you've gone without a drink?

I usually find that anyone asking if they are an alcoholic is really looking
for someone to tell then that they are not and will believe the one that
says no rather than the ten that say yes.
