Given your altered reaction to others, something I'd suggest you'd not
have been able to achieve whilst drinking, I'd say that's evidence of
psychic change.
Your concept of a HP works for you, so I wouldn't try to change it at
all other than to nurture/develop it. My concept is totally
different, but that works for me so I have no need to change that
either.
What I am saying is that belief in a deity is no prerequisite to the
program. Check out the first couple of pages of Chapter 4, "We
agnostics"... "Well, that’s exactly what this book is about. Its main
object is to enable you to find a Power greater than yourself which
will solve your problem." Step 12 promises a spiritual awakening as
*the* *result* of these Steps.
