Hi,
my name is Detlef. This newsgroup alt.recovery.from-12-steps, also
called arf is dedicated to people questioning the 12 step programs
as used in anounymous groups like Anonymous Alcoholics, Narcotics
Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Underearner
Anonymous and all the rest.

For more information about 12 stepping there are a lot of websites
online and more will hopefully launch in future.

side which is rarely discussed in meetings and is discussed only
in a limited capacity in print. This is an attempt to voice this
much needed alternate point of view. [...]

German sites:
Peter Daum is not a ex-member, it's a scientific work.
So it's from an other point of view.
He didn't had real criticly interview partners.
