It seems insane that we have to be brought to our knees before we seek
help, but for most of us that's the way it is. Whatever crisis got us
here, we will eventually see as a blessing in disguise.

Thank You Higher Power, of my understanding, for the crisis--the one
that brought me to my knees, because it also bought me this hour of
clean and sober time.

Great reading Rosie,

I just shared something similar to this at a noon meeting.

My major growth spurts in sobriety have been when I have been in the
most pain. When I felt anything "yucky" in my life I drank to feel
better. Today when I feel anything "yucky" I work the Steps. The more
pain I am in the more I dive into my recovery and my relationship with
God.
