Reflections for Beginners
from
'Hour To Hour - The First 30 Days'
- by Shelly Marshall
the author of 'Day By Day' & other Meditation Books
You don't have to worry about your faults now or feel shame. None of us
are near perfect, even if we've been clean and sober a long time. We
strive for progress, not perfection.
Let me know I don't have to put up a front of perfection, my goal is
progress in sobriety.

Screwy people write these screwy simpleminded crap books and then

Nice little addition you have there.
My point wasn't about your cocktail habits.....it was about screwballs
taking already free shit and selling it to sick screwballs. I think
turning a buck on the back of the those in recovery is worse than
literally fucking the newcomers. AA itself does this too in it's own
small way....and that's bullshit too.
Keeping it simple is a tad different than being simpleminded....I
would agree keeping it simple is an accomplishment. Paying to become
simpleminded is like buying a pill to become retarded though.
Have a good day and enjoy your new addition.

Yes, you have! Remember you wanted 49 cents a word and I talked you
into 33 cents. Of course we also agreed I would use rubber checks to
pay the debt.
I'm not worried about your daily postings .... you steal from the rich
and give to the poor....rosiehood!

Not at all. Drunks ...real or not are a screwy lot. I would suppose a
drunk that wasn't a real drunk would be screwy'er than a real drunk
though.
What I'm saying is personally I don't care for the people that turn a
buck on what is already free and available already. As to how much one
needs the stuff most likely depends on the individual.
