. . . or off the face of the earth. I've just been busy as heck at work.
I have, however, still managed to stay away from the cancer sticks and am
now serving my 20th day of not smoking. Actually, it does get easier but I
have to admit that when things get pressure-filled I have been chewing the
occasional square of nicotine gum.
Blessings be upon all of your houses, (or if that's too wiccan for the
Christians or too deist for the atheists then just "good cess on ye")

Good for you. 20 days? have your senses of smell and taste come back yet?
Food tastes so good with taste buds not coated in nicotine doesn't it? :)
and blessings on you and yours :)

Is it worth the aggravation to find yourself
a job when there's nothing worth working for?
IT's a crazy sitiuation but all I need are
cigarettes and alcohol. -- some band

Thanks, sweetie, it's a bit more insidious than drinking. I'm doing okay
though. Hope you are well.

Steve,
The toughest part is that while we're trying to get this GayAA meeting
going we're trying to be as nonrestirctive as possible. Although the Pride
Center is a no smoking zone, it has a ventilated smoking room for the ciggy
addicts. The other regulars are smokers and keep wanting to adjourn to the
smoking room. Call it "ventilated" if you wish, a small room with a couple
of people smoking gets pretty cloudy. Still, it's an *alcoholics* meeting
and not a nicotine addicts meeting so bitching about it would be out of
bounds. I just chew a couple nicotine gum squares. <grin>
