Top o' the morning.

The name is Chris, Alcoholic. My game site is down so I thought I'd
see what webtv posting boards are like.. I typed in addiction and found
this place. Glad I did.
I'm From NY. I've been clean and sober for 3 yrs. this month. and
I've just become a grand pappy in the last 2 wks. :) Makes me feel
kinda old. I'm 44 going on 15 if ya know what i mean. and thinking of
myself as a grand father is wild...lol I raised my Daughter since
she was 4 and in spite of my best efforts she turned out to be quite the
young lady. She's 20 now.
To any newcomers that may be in the room....
Meeting Makers Make it !! Hold on to your seat and get ready for good
things to happen. Keep it simple by just not drinking one day at a
time. And please..Give time,time Cuz it is worth it. and it does get

Congratulations, grandpa! I was challenged in my first year of
sobriety but held onto the words of some "old timers": It does get
better. So very true. Keep on posting, Chris... Your sage advice is
appreciated.
