I don't know if you've heard, but starting Jan 1, 2003, you will no
longer be able to use a cell phone while driving unless you have a
"hands free" adapter. I went to Circuit City. They wanted $50 for a
headset with a boom microphone for my cell phone. I have come up with
an alternative, working through Office Depot. These kits are compatible
with any mobile phone and one size fits all. I paid $0.08 each because
I bought in quantity. I'm selling them for $1.00. I tried them out on
Erickson, Motorola, & Nokia Sprint PCS phones, and they worked
perfectly. A photo is attached. Take a look and let me know if you
want one. Also, forward this to anyone you know who may want one!
Now lets lessen the risk & be more responsible.

"They found that a person talking on a cell phone was involved in more
rear-end collisions and took 18% longer to return to their initial driving
speed than when they were legally drunk."

In the UK they've been saying this for some years now. There's still
too many idiots using the damn things on British roads, but it seems
like far fewer than here in NJ where it's just not taken seriously by
anyone.

Yeah, I live in Toronto and used to drive 55kkm/year (~35,000
miles/year). I have two things to say:
1) Cell phones and cars certainly don't mix. Lose 'em, folks.
2) 0.08% blood alcohol? That's the Canadian legal limit. At my body
weight (male, approx 150 lbs) that's two or three beers. 14 beers and
waking up wondering where the car was parked is an entirely different
story. Gimmie a break. Most posters and lurkers in this NG are in the
10+ catagory, neh? I see no relevance here.

Hmm - guess I'm not TOO quick, either.
