Hi all. I have been reading archives of mine in Google. I didn't know,
until yesterday, that I could do that.
I am so full of shit! I know that you all didn't know that already. ;)
I just wanted to let you all know that I know it, too. I am going to
keep my foolish mouth shut and just read from here on out. Kinda
bothered me that I was one of the all time posters in this group and
with all my crap that I have spewwed, it is embarrassing to say the
least.

All that we in the AA fellowshio ask for is a desire to stop drinking,
That's it. Believe me... You are not alone. I'm certain that the
majority of us in the NG have done more than our fair share of lying,
cheating, stealing, and manipulating. I just got to the point of where
I couldn't keep up with it anymore. I admitted to the
unmanageability. Step One. I then reached out for help. Step Two.

There is no need to feel embarassed, Gail. All of us have a no-fault
illness. It's the cunning, powerful, and baffling aspect of chemical
dependency that makes us lie to ourselves and others. In no way is
that an excuse, though; we are accountable for our actions.

Please, please, please... Don't stop posting, Gail. You are an
important member of our community.You have been very courageous to
admit that you were deceiving us. Now it's time to get cleaned up and
to make a better life for yourself. Like my sponsor says: Sobriety is
easy. You just have to turn your life around 180 degrees. Try and keep
it simple, Gail.

TN. some time on Oct. and do a fifth with her. You all keep saying that will
