View Full Version : 3 Months Today

Hay! It's been 3 months today since I quit drinking, cocaine, fast
food and processed foods and Zoloft. Well actually I had to slowly come
off the Zoloft gradually lowering the dosage over a 2 month period but I
started 3 months ago.

I would have to say the most difficult of all was the Zoloft. I can't
say how many times I wanted to blow my brains out or hang myself from
the nearest tree or steer my car into oncoming traffic, fortunately I
knew this was a side affect of withdrawal from an SSI and was able to
deal with it. My advise is if you doctor wants to put you on an SSI type
drug tell him to shove it.

I don't go to meetings, not into the cult.

congrats on your three months poe!
the withdrawal side effects you describe can be had by some coming off
SSRI's, but by no means all.

It is also possible that those sides effects were from coming off the
drinking and cocaine. You can't possibly know since you came off them all at
the same time.
Oh, and are you a doctor? Any suggestion you make right now isn't enough for
one to stop taking their doctors advice and to take yours.
Keep us posted.

No, are you? Just becaue I suggest people listen to their doctor, instead of
you, makes me a troll?
I am very glad that you have not had a drink or drug in three months. If
that makes me a troll, then so be it.
It would be nice if everyone said the things we wanted to hear and acted the
way we wanted them to act, wouldn't it?
Nice hand shake to you...
