Daily Reflections
A PRICELESS GIFT
By this time in all probability we have gained some measure of
release from our more devastating handicaps. We enjoy moments in
which there is something like real peace of mind. To those of us who
have hitherto known only excitement, depression, or anxiety--in other
words, to all of us--this newfound peace is a priceless gift.

I get a daily repreive from the obsesession to drink, even though I view my
sobriety as a life long commitment. The true peace of living in today is
something I have never experienced befor. It is truely wonderful

True peace and serenity is a wonderfull thing and I believe it is possible
for everybody but it is fleeting at times in this world of murder and
hatred.I wish life could be like it was back in "Mayberry"

The rest of today's reflection expands on letting go and turning our
decisions over to God (or your higher power).
I was reminded this morning of a saying, "I can't. He can. I think I'll
let him."
I say it aloud and I get a physical reaction to take a slow, deep breath and
when I exhale, the problem does seem a little lighter. Like I shed it from
my shoulders and delegated to someone I know can execute the solution in
lieu of me.
