BTW, I can only hope that calling you "Agent Argumentative Dumbass"
qualifies me for the "Ad Hominem Attack Grand Prize Drawing" ;^)

How do chronic, lifelong alcohol addicts get and stay sober in lieu of A.A.?

(My guess is that you will NOT answer the question, but rather, accuse A.A.
of being a religion based cult.......just guessing).

Jim, the first thing I bought after a big book, was a dictionary.
Fortunately, with dictionaries online these days, I feel free to use the
closest word (as best as I can guess) for what I want to say.

Simpler english?

one of the beautiful things about the use of specific words is that they
convey the exact meaning of the author or as close as possible that can be
achieved through language.

Instead of asking that a person restrict his vocabulary to meet the lowest
common denominator, I would challenge you to buy a collegiate dictionary,
and look up any one of the plethora of words that seems to be outside the
realm of your current resevoir of morphemes. many words have multiple
meanings, or a specific meaning that has been altered by common usage, or a
meaning altogether differing from what you thought was being expressed.

why use a big word, when a diminutive one will suffice.

little knowledge, and knowledge is best kept secret from them.
