Impotence?

I have drank quite heavily for the past year or so. Recently I have
noticed my libido is much lower and I sometimes have trouble getting
an erection but I am not completely impotent. Is this due to too much
drinking? If I quit completely will my drive come back? How long
will it take? I know that heavy chronic abuse can cause permanent
damage but I haven't really been drinking heavily for years or
anything; more like really heavy for six months every day. I think
Blue Moon on this board said his came back in about three months. i
have quit now for 10 days.

Ya, well; heavy drinking can lower your testosterone
levels quite a bit. Are you growing breasts? AA has
been known to cause impotence too.
