I've also found that this group has allowed me to enrich my
understanding of both the condition and the necessary actions. Just
so long as I can take that understanding elsewhere, I can see the
benefit of it. If I keep it to myself, I can't.

Do you believe me when I say it's impossible to work them Steps whilst
still drinking?
My experience was similar. Personally I feel the doctor's opinion and
chapters 2 and 3 are the most important. If I don't understand the
problem, I can't decide whether I have it and so I'll not take the
actions required to solve it.
