Alcoholism ... the disease of perception. In your case, the diseased

That's good, because if you're alcoholic then any old belief needs
questioning. Why? Because didn't each of us believe that alcohol
could and would restore us to sanity? Step 1 really rocks that
belief, which is why it can be so hard for so many to really do.
