The shakes.

How long/ how much do you have to drink to get "The shakes", I have been
drinking heavily each evening pretty much for the last 8 years, about 6
months ago I decided I'd better start to manage it with alternated drinking/
no booze days, but much to my (ironic) dissapointment, no shakes, what do
you have to drink? like 2 bottles of whisky a day for 20 years to be a real
alcoholic? The worst I get is a slight sweat..........I thought I was a hard
drinker...must be a jonny lightweight I guess?

Drink 24/7 helps you get the shakes pretty good if
you'd like to experience it. I'd suggest Wild Turkey
and a ten day binge.

Different people have different responses. Hangovers are symptoms of
withdrawal. Not everyone has bad hangovers.
Take care - if you drink regularly and heavily - you are high risk for being
totally dependent, physically and psychologically.

i think you meant "the shakes" can be a symptom of withdrawal, not
hangovers.

regular old hangovers, are a result of excess alcohol consumption.

Some people are blessed. I'm not one of those. Takes me 4 beers to get 2
normal. Just spent 5 days in the county lockup...domestic battery...tnx for
asking...it was cold and i wuz sweating like a pig, while i slept, for 3
dayz. This iz serious shit. People die from it. i think itsa genetic
predisposition. Everyone on my Dad's side. All of those cousins. It may just
appear to be a wrecked car...an "accident", if u will...

If you hang out inna barber shop long enough, you'll get a haircut. I have a
lot of ded friends...shit i'm only 40. My step kids are on crack. I have
warned ...and scared...my 2. I have bin blessed in this life with many
friends. The best...outside of Roger hanging himselgf ...car wrecks...

I wrecked 11...ain't drove in 20 years,legally. Never mashed one i dint
total. Pls dont play with fire...U-r no fun, inna box under dirt!
