While thinking about some of your and my contributions today to this
NG, I again thought there *is* one truth at least in this passage from
the BB:

"Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking and
self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate.
Sometimes, they hurt us, seemingly without provocation, but we
invariably find that at some time in the past we have made decisions
based on self which later put us in a position to be hurt "
(Source: Alcoholics Anonymous, page 62)

What do you think ?

Cheggs,

If you did not appreciate that my message contained potentially
helpful advice, maybe reading page 60 (from " The first requirement
is that we be convinced that ......... ) through to the end of page
62 and page 64 (from ""Resentment is the "number one" offender. It
destroys more alcoholics than anything else.......") through to the
end of page 71) will enable you to see that it did.

Yours

I take your point :^)

In return, I think it worth sharing that I've heard it said that "One
definition of insanity is " doing the same thing over and over again,
yet expecting a different result".
