"He may be broke and homeless. Be certain that he is not trying to
impose upon you for money, car keys, or shelter. Permit that and you
only harm him. You will be making it possible for him to be
insincere. You will have aided in his destruction rather than his
recovery."
- some page in the manual for living.

buddy, on his 4th DUI, wife finds out cause it's on the 6 o'clock
news. This time it costs $10,000. 4 car pile-up.
'omigod our nest egg'
'ah money. there's always more money...'
working two jobs - one supports the wife 'n kids, the other the
drinking. House + 5 or 6 babies.
Next one buys 3-5. Would sure be nice if those dui kindergarten
classes had some desireable effect.

Anyway she 'been to alanon' before. But she likes him better when
he's drinking. Otherwise he's just plain restless, irritable and
discontenting.

Best he spend it on his own legal defence, otherwise shit he might
have to spend it all on the teenagers'.

real nice people tho.

So what if she gets the house but loses the thing that was making the
payments. 'Foreclosure!? Whaddaya mean foreclosure???'
Thought she said she wanted closure...
