Reflections for Beginners
from
'Hour To Hour - The First 30 Days'
- by Shelly Marshall
the author of 'Day By Day' & other Meditation Books
To want a fix, pill, drink, smoke, or snort is not bad, it is
a perfectly normal state of being for an addict. But each hour we
stay clean eventually makes a day. Each day brings us closer to
health of body, mind, and spirit. Eventually "craving" our chemicals
will not be normal, but a thing of our diseased past.
Let me know that the state of craving my drug of choice will
one day be replaced with feeling my true emotions.
