Depression

Bipolar disorder, formerly know as manic depression, is another form
of mental illness but this one has two sides to it. One side leaves
the person suffering from severe depression while the other side gives
them a feeling of manic high that makes them feel better then they
could ever feel in a normal stage.

I think my co-worker's wife may have that condition. What medicines would
you recommend to treat bipolar disorder?

You're asking someone in a newsgroup to recommend medicine for a serious
condition?

I prescribe that you not do that.

Why do you worry so much about this person?

You would be enough to drive someone to drink.

having bipolar disorder all my life and self medicating with drugs and
alcohol not a good choice. the answer is treatment through a doctor.
This is the only way to go.
