I have a addiction.
Please note that I know this group is not for my type of addiction so
I am very sorry if I have offended anyone. I recently discovered that I am addicted to the Internet and TV. I really don't have a clue how to overcome it. Two years ago I realized I was addicted to TV. Right then I throw the TV out, and hoped my problems would go away. However, I failed to realized that Internet is just as bad as TV was -- I can download entire seasons of my favorite episodes and watch them! There are no support group for TV addiction nor for Internet/Computer. In fact, here in Toronto, Canada some psychiatrist laughed at me. One psychiatrist went as far as to tell me that you have be rally stupid to be addicted to TV & Internet. I would like to know how I can overcome my addiction. So far this is what I have thought In near future I will buy a laptop, so whenever I want to use the computer I will take it with me to the beach and use it and come home . But there lies my problem; what do I do when I am in college (my college has everything put on the internet!! marks timestables you know name it) And what about job -- hell I am studying to become Computer Engineer -- this means spending more then eight hours on computers! I can not change my career I am not good in anything expect computer. Argh!!!! Your advice will be support is appreciated |

Listen to internet radio. ;-) Wean yourself to only listening to internet radio when you're awake. Never listen alone, only listen during parties, ad nausium. ;-) > Your advice will be support is appreciated Your humor was greatly appreciated. -- http://www.oretek.com |
