I used to take Antubuse. Never was brave
enough to drink on it. One of my buddies
drank a Miller two days after he stopped
taking it and had a major allergic sort-of
reaction: turned beet red and then passed
out for a few minutes and was awfully sick.

A BAD EXPERIENCE !

A bad experience never bothers me ! Being sick ? Fuck that . I had
tolerances for anything
as long as I got my drink. jail, jobs, family. friends .... no
considerations what so ever stood
before me.

If it doesn't make you hurl ... sue the drug company for marketing a
defective product,
reap millions, take a cruise ... on a AA sponsored tour .. that is.

Going on week 5 now without a drink. I lost the urge to "test" this
drug. I will just keep taking it first thing in the morning.

One question? What the hell am I going to do with all my free time
now that I am not drinking. Plus, I have already lost most of my so-
called friends.

Sobriety sucks!!!!

I am not an alcoholic. I am a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings.

If you go to meetings, you might find friends, and sobriety will stop
sucking.

You might even find something to do with all your free time.

Spend it being a real friend? You know you can't make real friends
until you become one. ;-) Good job on 5 weeks, fwiw. The fact that you
reality tested the drinking on antibuse is a good sign. If you ever get
any other of what I call, terminally brilliant ideas, feel free to bounce
them around. ;-)

And then it doesn't and then it does again.

Here's a picture to go with that.
