Bottoming out happened to me so many times that it lost any meaning. I had
been very close to death many times, and not once did I think of giving up
the bottle. It was just as ForgetMeNot said, one night I had just had
enough! That was 3 years ago, Im still not completely well after 30 years of
abuse.

Maybe not completely well, but I'll bet you're much better off.

Congrats on 3 years. I'd give my soul to have that much time under my
belt.

I once read an article by a writer who had been off the juice for eight
months. That too, awed me. I wondered how anyone could do that. I'm now
in my third clean year. Don't ever say that you can't do that, or this
kind of achievement is only for other people.
