treatment centers for relapse
I'm trying to help a family member find a treatment center to help her cope
with some recent relapses. A brief history. She started drinking at age 16 and she is now 44. She tried to quite cold turkey about 7 years ago and that lasted about a year. Three years ago she tried a facility on a beach in Thailand, got in touch with her spirituality, but relapsed after a year. July of 2005, she started going to a reputable outpatient facility but has had 4 dramatic but brief (single day) relapses in the the past 4 months. Her counselors have advised her to try a thirty day program, preferably one with a strong relapse component. She is willing to give it a shot. These are a few of the programs we are considering and we appreciate any feedback on them, as well as suggestions of other facilities. Betty Ford, Sierra Tucson, Father Martins Ashley, Cumberland Heights, Hazelden, and Cirque. A sincere THANK YOU to those who have taken the time to read this. Ash |
