I fell off

I fell off the water wagon. I landed on my head. I need an aspirin. It
hurts. Maybe I can try again later.

Re: I fell off

Me too! I'm thinking I can do this with moderation. Have you heard that
before? Hah. I can imagine the flak I'm going to get.
Going through a divorce or separation is a very difficult process. You're
going to need some help but help, as it appears you know, as we all do here,
isn't coming from the bottle.
One thing that is helping me (to moderate) is getting involved with the rest
of the world.
Sitting at home and drinking the problems away is so fleeting and so lonely.
It really doesn't help! You know what I'm saying!
You may think this a bit old fashioned to suggest - but why not consider
taking dance lessons. (Jive is lively). Likely you can find a girlfriend
that would be interested in being a partner. Most women love the idea (it's
fun) and it's good exercise.
Get out there, man!
It's a start.
Sue

Re: I fell off

Phy, think of today as a clean slate!!!! You fell off, but you can get
right back on, do you want to get back on? I hope so!!!!! I'm having
a rough time with my significant other because of my new AA life, and
it's stressful beyond belief...on the bright side, it makes me want to
be sober more than ever, this would all feel so much worse if I were
drinking. Hang in there, we are here for you!...Danni

Re: I fell off

Everytime one of you falls off the wagon, I gain more gratitude for my
infallible wagon. Keep on falling while I keep on counting my blessings.

Peace,
Tim
