Yeah, but look at the bright side: the punitively interred can be gainfully deployed and employed as a Work(not welfare)force. We've already had the crime prisons producing license plates and such. The Debtor Prison... er, Camp can similarly pick up some similar productivity, as can the grateful souls at the Poor House. Or stadiums. Or compounds. |
