Whatever crisis got us here, we will eventually see as a blessing in disguise. Thank You Higher Power, of my understanding, for the crisis--the one that brought me to my knees, because it also bought me this hour of clean and sober time. |

Great reading Rosie,
I just shared something similar to this at a noon meeting. My major growth spurts in sobriety have been when I have been in the most pain. When I felt anything "yucky" in my life I drank to feel better. Today when I feel anything "yucky" I work the Steps. The more pain I am in the more I dive into my recovery and my relationship with God. Peace, G- |
