6 months - yay!

Need to blow my own horn and feel good about it. Tuesday was 6 months.
Suprised but not shocked if that makes any sense. "Not drinking" still
happening pretty smoothly - "living life" continues to be a struggle. But
wow - I guess it's a struggle for everyone; took a while for THAT to sink
in.

Just got a call from a brand spanking newcomer. Saw him at a Monday and a
Tuesday meeting (did a different mtg today). It was only 6 months ago but
he sounded just like I did the first time I picked up that very heavy cell
phone! It's starting to feel nice. Got invited to chair this Friday - my
first time. Can't wait for the rest of my life to fall in line like my AA
life is taking shape!

Thanks everyone - steve
