Re: 12 step????????
Keep blaming your parents for everything! It's a great and acceptable way
to absolve one self of any personal responsibility. Most Christians cannot accept a Christian belief system either, just fake it like they do. Problems solved.........no charge. Since you have been able to scam your way through life, why don't you scam your way through sobriety? |

I cannot speak for your experience. Sounds like another alcoholic missed an opportunity to get sober, as he was unable to differentiate the true from the false. for Poe -- Are you really a buddhist? Your comment on some element of childhood abuse perplexes me if you are indeed a buddhist. A buddhist would not have to deal with childhood abuse as he would understand the abuse was his karma. Confrontation with the abuser would not be necessary - only the acceptance of the basic buddhist truth that "you had it coming." As a Buddhist, perhaps you should thank your parents for the abuse as they helped balance your karma. The Buddha said, "According to the seed that is sown, So is the fruit you reap The door of good will gather good result The door of evil reaps evil result. If you plant a good seed well, Then you will enjoyed the good fruits." Your statements regarding this need to confront your parents are likely increasing your Akushala. Perhaps you are thinking and wishing to act out of hatred and illusion. You know what that means ---- more shit is coming. Good Luck with that. Bobby L |

It could be that he just decided AA wasn't his path to sobriety. If someone wants sobriety bad enough, they will find a path AA or other. Gregg |
