Nothing reduces cravings for alcohol except for alcohol.
Do you think that there can be a drug that can make
you not want to do something that you want to do? If
that were so, they'd invent a drug that would make
you want to walk across an 8 lane highway. Drugs
aren't the answer to alcoholism: cept for temporary
fixes like drugs that calm the shakes or cause a poisonous
reaction when you drink alcohol. These drugs that reduce
"cravings" for opiates, all that they do is displace the
opiates in the system so that they have no effect from
the opiates. The only thing that really works is will
power or fear of death.

Nope. Never said that Valium was an opiate you retarded
pile of shit! Let me explain for the mentally handicrapped:
"Nope OPIATES won't WORK for 'alcohol withdrawal" however,
you COULD ZONK yourself on VALIUM (not referring to a benzo
as an opiate and if you could stay awake thru it you'd STILL
prolly getting loaded on Jim Beam with said Valium. You have
a bad habit of taking everything out of context. Must be your
brain-stem damage you fruity little piss-head.

Hey you miserable little pussy, I infect did take it in "context". That is
why I went back and quoted the context in my reply. You failed to leave the
context in the message when you spouted off to my original reply. As another
matter of fact Valium will relieve the physical cravings for alcohol and is
used as such. Maybe "you" would still want a bottle of Jim Beam, but you
need to use it as your experience and not apply it to others. Well, shit for
brains, I am done playing with you. Hope you can find someone else that will
play your silly games.

Never did I say that Valium was an opiate. Show me where I did,
you fucking little pencil-neck prick! Quite obliviously you were
deprived of oxygen at birth, was poorly educated or just some
asshole playing stupid. I figure that you're prolly all of the
above. Go back grade-school you 3rd grade drop-out. Or better
yet, go polish off some vodka and kill those last 150 genetically
deficient brain-cells before you knock-up the first fat bitch
who'd take your flopped clock. Eat shit and die.

Greg and Scott are both sock puppets of each other, right? I mean, I would
think there's a way to tell, but I'm not proficient enough to do it, but it
all strikes me as a 15 year old talking to himself.

Valium is great for calming you down, ridding you of the
shakes and controlling your aggression --and agression
is a big problem for most of us when we withdrawal from
alcohol -- but, NOTHING will make the cravings go away
EXCEPT for having the control to Take Your Mind off of
the boozee -- perish the thought. Keep busy. Jack off.
Rent DVD's. Read books. Watch Dr Phil. Remember, alcoholism
isn't only a physical addiction --physical addictions are
over in a matter of a few days--, it's a mental obsession.
The best thing you can do is 'take your mind off of it'.
And see, here we are --all of us on this newsgroup-- and
some of us are drinking and some of us aren't but the
fact is,we're all Obsessed with the thought of drinking --
this can possibly be very detrimental because the human
mind tends to magnetize you to whatever your obsession
happens to be. Suicide bombers are conditioned 24/7 from
a very young age to hate the Jews and and kill them even
at the expense of their own lives --which prolly aren't
too great anyway, because of the Jews. What happens?
KABOOM! Maybe that wasn't such a great analogy but if you
don't like it, shove it up yer arse!

Effexor warning, and valium answer

Recently effexor has been one of several drugs cited with potential health
consequences, if you are taking, it would be good idea to look over it's
potential side effects and to talk to your doctor. As per valium for use
with getting away from alcohol, it is used for that sometime, particularly
if someone is getting the proverbial dts from alcohol withdrawl. But,
alcoholics can be predisposed to potential valium abuse and need to be
careful and monitored. A warning too, valium by itself proply never has
killed anyone, but mix it with alcohol and it can be a killer.
