last night a warning

people... after years of drinking my dad of 65 years died last night due to
liver failure and pneumonia....he drank every day when he had the money ,,
when i was a kid if the pub was open he would be in it and it didnt change
untill 2 weeks ago..... the only thing stopping him from drinking for the
last week or two was he got too ill to get to the pub,,, or im sure he would
have liked to have died in there....

his marriage failed due to drink.. he lost his job due to drink.. he lost
his family due to drink..

up untill a couple of weeks ago he was out on his bike as normal going from
pub to pub in search of his only pleasure....

yeah well that pleasure killed him ...

i dont drink..... havent for years,,,i know what it does... at the funeral
i wonder if people will be having a drink for my dad?

doesnt seem right does it? enjoying the thing that killed him?

so if you have a drink problem remember what i have said.... it will kill
you i have no doubt.. how it manifests itself is yet to be seen... but it
will get you..

Yep. Dad died two years ago from liver and stomach
cancer related to alcoholism. Doctor told me that
if kept drinking like I was, I'd be dead before 40.
I hope not! There are a few things I'd like to do.
