Ping: Gary
Gaz, I was very excited to see in another post that one of your medics
has told you that you will need to address your alcohol issues with detox and (if memory serves) advised that your emotional upheaval will get better with time. I am very pleased for you since this seems to demonstrate some pretty impressive honesty and commitment to getting better on your part. May I ask what you plan to do next? Warm regards, Cheggs |

Honest i am, but still i drink & love to do it, even though i know it's an addiction. I am now drinking wine & vodka & am feeling good, positive, optimistic, but i do know i need to talk to someone, thats why my psychodoc gave me phone nombers for local alcohol abuse centre to go to! thats what i'm doing, but i'm a million miles from stopping as i hate that my anxiety killed my previous relationship. If i stop, she won't come back, i love her & now am in self destruct! Re: Ping: Gary
Gaz.
It's okay if you don't want to stop drinking, but since that's the case, I don't know if there's anyone here who can help you, mate. I certainly can't. If it ever strikes you in future that quitting drinking would be a good idea, and you think you'd like advice on that then I'd definitely recommend posting here again. There are some good, smart folks in here. Best Cheggs. Who doesn't include himself in that definition. Re: Ping: Gary
Hi Cheggs & thanks
Yes, i love a drink & it may be a prob due to my anxiety, but being in touch with a group that is about alcoholism is good for me as it keeps me in touch with my prob. If i was drinking & doing other thing & being unaware of it, that would be worse! Just is good to talk of it, if is ok! Gary, I'm surprised that you feel a need to post here to keep you in touch with your problem. After all, you yourself say that you were addicted to alcohol before Miss Budapest came along, then you drove her off, lost the chance of a new life in the US and lost a bunch of friends by mistreating her and self-harming. A year later, you say you think of her pretty much constantly yet you're fucking some other woman you don't care much for but that's okay because she'll overlook your alcohol addiction if you'll put up with her kids. Now, you can't get yourself to your job, you say you have at least three prescription medicines on the go at the same time as your alcohol addiction and you recently come close to taking a trip to the Ukraine to meet some would-be Russian bride despite the fact that you're racked with anxiety. And on top of it all, you're computer's choked with viruses and you won't take the medical advice to cease drinking you're being given by your psychodoc. If I were you, I wouldn't need to post to a newsgroup to stay in touch with my problem, I'd be living it 24/7. Been there, done that. > If i was drinking & doing other thing & being unaware of it, that would > be worse! Yep, good thing it's only booze that's a problem and you're aware of it. > Just is good to talk of it, if is ok! > Cheers > Gaz Gaz, you can post whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want and nobody can stop you. But I told you already mate, nobody here can help you. You'd find more like-minded people elsewhere on the web, that's all I'm saying. Enjoy your booze tonight (you can have my share as well), and have a great morning tomorrow. Best Cheggs Who hopes the irony wasn't entirely wasted. > Cheggers <cheggers2004@hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:ffb957f.0409272102.41ff78f9@posting.google.co m... > > Gaz. > > > > It's okay if you don't want to stop drinking, but since that's the > > case, I don't know if there's anyone here who can help you, mate.
