Having said that, it's my experience that posts do appear there that could prove useful to someone interested in learning how to recover from alcoholism. Similarly, it's my experience, that potentially useful posts appear on this NG - alt.recovery.addiction.alcoholism. Having spent more than a year here and also on alt.recovery.aa, there's no doubt in my mind that alt.recovery.addiction.alcoholism has produced considerably more posts that have been on-topic for NG's whose name suggests that their prime concern is issues relating to recovery from alcoholism.
