Yes thank you and one reason why it is is because I know that it is
not within my powers to determine the outcome of the situation I found
myself in yesterday:

and therefore, if I let it continue to upset me today, I'll be doing
myself no favours.

I wasn't thinking clearly at the time. Now that I'm a bit clearer-headed,
it does seem pretty ridiculous. -Fred
