Why is it so hard to find an online meeting?

Is it just me? I can't get to face-to-face meetings for medical reasons
but so far I have totally failed to find an on-line meeting after
several attempts. Yes, I know about the Online Intergroup site and I
joined the British AA group but no-one ever seems to be there. I know
this sounds like a total whinge but I really cannot get to f-2-f
meetings so if anyone out there has any advice on how to find places
with people in I would very much appreciate it.

Sorry to be a moaner...I just figure I am probably being stupid because
I'm sure there's some easy way to find on-line meetings that I just
don't know about.

Keep exploring. Last time I looked, there were meetings on live
"chat" software such as yahoo, MSN and IRC.

www.e-aa.org is an AA group with lots of online meetings each week.

Jeez! Do your "medical reasons" preclude actually reading the site
info, or do you just "turn it over" and expect others to do for you
what you're too lazy to do for yourself?

http://aa-intergroup.org/directories/chat_english.html
"See meeting schedule for times"
"Wednesdays and Sunday evenings 7.00pm EST ( Sydney time zone )"
"North Carolina, ... We meet on Wednesday Nights, 8 p.m. till 10
p.m."
"Meeting scheduled for 9 p.m. Central Time US (10 p.m. Eastern):"

and on and on and on

Bob

I tried it and like it. Not to beat it to death, wondering what everybody
here looks like, but that site also has a way to post a picture of yourself
under whatever moniker you go by. It's pretty cool!
