I think AA is great! I never said anything or meant to infer in anyway
that this is a replacement for AA. For me it answered a lot of
questions.

if you have found what works for you, that is WONDERFUL!
AA is NOT the only way to recovery and some of us know that!

If it were only that easy. I have found alcoholism to be an allergy of
the body, an obsession of the mind and a cancer of the spirit. To
sucessfully recover, (IMHO), you have to address all of these. I don't
claim any special expertise in these matters, but I have found the program
of AA to be quite helpful.

Are you of the opinion that people quit drinking because AA did
something right?
