i assume you are referring to me, and i will answer you moon....................................
is it flaunting or assuring folks that it can be done? i am VERY PROUD and GRATEFUL for my 20+yrs of sobriety. why? it means, that no matter what "shit hit the fan" i kept doing what i was taught to do! i was taught by all of the wonderful old-timers that helped me over the years! PRAY, DON'T DRINK, GO TO MEETINGS. -- read and post daily, it works! rosie ever wonder if we would care more about each other if we realized how much we have in common? ..............................R. Re: will AA work?
You are welcome to put her in your kill file or just not read. This is
not an AA meeting, so you don't have to listen to it if you don't want to. Personally, I believe any problem a person has can relate to or aggravate their alcoholism. Personally, there's not much you have that I would want. Your solution may not be the same as everyone else's. Remember that the primary purpose is to carry the message to the alcoholic who still suffers, not to bash them because their form of suffering doesn't suit you. CHANGING THE THINGS THAT WE CAN CHANGE, is a mandate that has not been wasted on me. its not about bossing folks around, but rather listening and offering support where we can. rosie |

I'm perfectly aware that I "could" not read or killfile Rosie Blabandblather. I chose not to. If your medical expertise is to treat the symptom instead of the disease of alcoholism, I can see how you would react that way. .. |

Re: will AA work?
I don't exactly agree with you here. The disease of alcoholism IS pouring
alcohol down our throats. We very well may have other physical and mental diseases and abnormal personalities that we self-medicate with alcohol. I know I did. But we often don't know what those diseases and disorders even are until we get dried out.
