Yes, I know, and meant, exactly what I said

Given that anxiety is fear and the Steps are specifically to resolve
fear through developing trust in a Higher Power, how do you reach such
a conclusion for anyone successfully recovering from addiction with
the Steps?

Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the
care of God as we understood him.

Step 11 does not say: Sought through prayer and medication to improve
our conscious contact with God as we understood him...

You have no clue what I would or wouldn't be critical of.
